1955 Reverend Don Neel becomes the first pastor of Fairmoor Assembly of God, located in the Fairmoor Elementary School, Whitehall, Ohio.
1956 Fairmoor A/G relocates to 803 Barnett Road, Whitehall.
1958 Two acres of land are purchased at 972 Beechwood Rd., construction begins on the first unit of church facilities.
1959 The building is occupied at 972 Beechwood Rd., Whitehall.
1961 Reverend Felix Coyle becomes the pastor. An additional unit is added to the facility, extending the auditorium and providing nursery space.
1969 Reverend Gene Speich becomes pastor.
1974 A new auditorium, seating 600, is built at 972 Beechwood Rd. The church name is changed to Evangel Temple Assembly of God.
1977 Twelve acres of land are purchased at 817 N. Hamilton Rd., Gahanna, Oh.
1979 Construction of the 18,000 square foot Family Life Center at 817 N. Hamilton Rd.
1980 Evangel Christian Academy is established, K through eighth grade.
1981 The home adjacent to the Whitehall facility at 978 Beechwood is purchased.
1986 The Multi-Purpose Center, capable of seating 1000, is built at the Gahanna location
1987 The facility at 972 Beechwood Rd. is sold to the Christian Community Church. Property at 811 N. Hamilton Rd. is purchased.
1988 The property at 978 Beechwood Rd. is sold the the Greater Columbus Baptist Church.
1989 The property at 793 N. Hamilton Rd. is purchased
1992 The property and buildings at Oakland Park Chapel is donated to Evangel Temple.
1996 Evangel Christian Academy expands to include High School. A building addition of 16,000 square feet is begun on the Multi-purpose center.
1997 The building addition is completed and occupied.
2007 The new gymnasium and classroom building is completed and occupied
