Our 24 hour Emergency Prayer Chain is activated immediately when someone has an urgent need. Many times we have seen God move in miraculous fashion. If you have an emergency many people will pray within minutes. Prayer changes things!  Prayer is one of the most vital ministries of the church.  A prayer sheet is compiled each Monday listing prayer requests and needs.

Builders International (BI) provides missionaries and national churches with the expertise and resources required to plan and implement building projects worldwide.  BI strives to be innovative and effective in its impact on building projects around the globe. We focus on the construction of Bible Schools, drug-rehab centers, orphanages, and churches. Construction and sewing teams travel once a year overseas to assist with projects.

Care ministries are a number of areas were we reach out to share the Love of Jesus in tangible ways.

Our Children’s Church is designed for and around kids. Music, stories, activities and crafts from the Bible help your child to understand what it means to live for the Lord.

We offer classes and Bible study activities through a variety of experiences.  These include classes for all ages, small groups, ministry opportunities and outreaches.

Effective Home Builders Couples Ministry is designed to promote fellowship, spiritual growth, increase strength in marriage relationships and build a sense of community for couples in our church family.

This senior group meets each Tuesday in the Cottage Chapel at 10:30 a.m. for singing, prayer and the Word of God. Once each month there is a lunch at the church or at a local restaurant following the meeting.Come join us!

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) at Evangel Temple is:
Junior Bible Quiz offers a great way to motivate children to understand the truth of God’s Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak set. Then during competition events, the children meet other teams for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty quetions in a match, the two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers. The team will compete at 4 league meets each year.

This ministry to men touches men both inside and outside of our congregation of fellowship, Christian growth and establishing new friends are valued essentials here. These are provided for in large annual conventions, small groups for support and prayer and a Sunday School class. This ministry also participates in service projects for members of the congregation and the church property.

Mpact Girls Clubs is a program for winning girls to Jesus Christ through love and acceptance. Mpact Girls Clubs provides an environment of support and accountability while helping girls to develop their gifts and abilities. In addition, girls build lifelong relationships with mentors who encourage girls to be spiritual leaders

We are the committee that is commissioned to bring to the church body the best candidate for our new Senior Pastor.  We are meeting at least twice a month for now and will report our progress to the body at least once a month on Sunday morning and in the bulletin.

We have narrowed the choices from 15 to 3, now setting up phone interviews of these candidates.

We should have a candidate in the near future, contact one of the committee for more information.

Getting connected at Evangel Temple means becoming a part of a small group. Our small groups provide a setting to build meaningful relationships and also opportunities to apply and do what the Bible teaches us we need to be doing. Small groups allow Evangel Temple to grow larger as we grow smaller as a body.

A ministry to women of all ages both inside and outside the church. The ministry includes large group gatherings,
specialty areas, small group meetings and outreach opportunities. Open to all women.

Will resume meetings in the fall 2010.

The youth of today are constantly bombarded with decisions that will affect the rest of their lives: drugs, alcohol, AIDS, dating and so many obstacles. Our purpose is to prepare them with the skills to stand up for Christ. “Real Life” is built on Jesus Christ, the Solid Rock.  Armed with this knowledge our teens will be ready for the challenge of daily life.
